We want to play our part in promoting a more responsible IT sector. For us, this means concrete and measurable actions and continuous improvement.
The cornerstones of our responsibility programme
Typically, there are many angles to corporate responsibility, such as well-being at work, customer data protection, computer recycling, logistics and diversity in the IT field. At Tietokeskus, we focus, in particular, on three areas of responsibility: people, customers and the environment.
In our management team, we have a designated person for each area, who is responsible for the development and progress of the measures in their area.
Tietokeskus’ Code of Conduct and Security Policy, including training, provide the basis for responsible business practices and our employees are committed to following them.
For Vaaka Partners, the majority owner of Tietokeskus, responsible investing means a long-term and determined approach in which Vaaka Partners assesses the ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) matters of companies at different stages of the investment process and actively works to improve the sustainability of its investments. In its investment activities, Vaaka Partners complies with the UN Principles for Responsible Investment in all material respects.

Tietokeskus’s IT equipment logistics and lifecycle services have been granted the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certificate.
ISO 20000-1 Service Management

ISO/IEC 20000-1 certification on June 15, 2026,
a leading international standard for IT service management.
Tietokeskus Finland Oy was awarded the ISO/IEC 20000-1 certification on June 15, 2026. ISO/IEC 20000-1 is the internationally recognized standard for IT service management.
Tietokeskus Finland Oy has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification on 8 January 2024. Bureau Veritas Finland has audited Tietokeskus’ information security management system and confirmed that it meets the requirements of the international management system standard.
Tietokeskus’ IT equipment logistics and lifecycle services have been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 quality certification on 13 April 2023. Bureau Veritas Finland has audited Tietokeskus’ management system and confirmed that it meets the requirements of the international management system standard.
Tietokeskus’ IT equipment logistics and lifecycle services have been awarded the ISO 14001:2005 environmental certification on 9 May 2022. The certification, granted by Bureau Veritas Finland, recognises the long-term work carried out to promote environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
