Finnish ICT service provider Tietokeskus has acquired Databros, a company operating in Ostrobothnia. While Tietokeskus operates nationally, it emphasises strong local presence through its 16 offices. Databros is the market leader in ICT services in Ostrobothnia, and the acquisition will further diversify the region’s service offering.
Tietokeskus Finland Oy is a leading national provider of ICT services in Finland, specialising in serving SMEs and public sector organisations. The company currently operates in 16 locations, providing services across the country. Databros Services Oy operates in Ostrobothnia and, like Tietokeskus, focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises as well as public sector clients.
Tietokeskus has acquired all shares in Databros. The deal will not affect existing customer relationships.

Acquisition expands regional service offering
Tietokeskus has observed that Finnish organisations prefer to procure ICT services from familiar, local providers. Building on this insight, Tietokeskus has developed its service business and national network of experts, while maintaining a strong local presence. With the support of a larger organisation in the background, local services can be delivered with the backing of a broad and capable team.

Following the acquisition, Tietokeskus will employ a total of 500 experts across Finland. This will offer Databros’ existing customers access to even greater expertise and new services, particularly designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized organisations.
