The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) has approved the acquisition through which Tietokeskus becomes the owner of Enfo. The transaction was completed on 4 December 2024. The combination creates Finland’s largest domestically owned IT service provider, employing a total of 800 specialists with a turnover of approximately EUR 200 million.
The acquisition brings together the complementary services and customer segments of Tietokeskus and Enfo, resulting in a broader and more comprehensive portfolio for both private and public sector clients. The company will continue nationwide operations across 17 locations, maintaining a strong local presence throughout Finland.
Janne Lipiäinen, CEO of Tietokeskus, is pleased with the positive response to the merger:
“The reception from our customers, employees and partners has been enthusiastic and encouraging. It reinforces our belief that we are creating a strong, domestic IT service provider to balance the dominance of international players. We are excited about the future and will now begin the careful planning of the integration. We are committed to offering our customers an even better service with a more versatile offering.”
The acquisition has no impact on existing customer relationships; all services and contracts will continue as before.
“This merger with Tietokeskus marks a new chapter in Enfo’s story and enables us to develop our operations on a broader scale. We are pleased to embark on this collaboration, which opens new opportunities for both our customers and our personnel,” says Nina Annila, EVP IT Services at Enfo.
