Tietokeskus supports Consti Group where the work is done

Previously, Consti Group’s assistants were overwhelmed with IT support tasks. They helped Consti employees with everyday IT issues, which at times took up a significant portion of their workday. “We needed to free these tasks from the assistants’ workload,” says Consti’s IT manager, Tomi Tutti.

“Support services are among the most common areas for IT outsourcing,” explains Tietokeskus sales representative Virpi Kekarainen. “User support can efficiently handle repetitive tasks and solve issues remotely, which is a major advantage for a company like Consti. With construction sites spread across Finland, support needs to be accessible wherever people are,” she continues.

Consti has been using Tietokeskus’ user support for a year now. “Outsourcing brought monthly reporting to the support service, which is very useful. The results have been excellent, and we can see from the metrics that everything is working smoothly,” Tutti adds, satisfied.

Support also for servers and device procurement

In addition to user support, Tietokeskus also assists Consti with IT infrastructure. “Our experts help with server maintenance, required procedures, and any disruptions. We also manage the Microsoft 365 environment,” says Kekarainen.

Consti also procures pre-installed devices directly to its offices through Tietokeskus. “We order devices easily via the online store and receive them ready to use. We are very satisfied that we can manage this ourselves through the online store,” Tutti says.

A long-standing partnership that evolves over time

Consti is used to working with a familiar partner who understands its needs and operating environment. “When we first started the collaboration, the company was called Suomen IT-infra. Its merger with Tietokeskus has, from our perspective, enabled a more comprehensive service. Our partnership has continued with Tietokeskus ever since,” Tutti explains.

“We continuously aim to develop our collaboration and services so that Consti can focus on its core expertise, renovation work. Development days and workshops are designed to support the customer’s work and needs. The IT environment must be as modern and functional as possible so that users’ work is uninterrupted,” Kekarainen notes.
